I am an experienced qualified, and person-centered coach and group facilitator, with a background in mental health nursing. I work with people who have issues in their life that they would like to explore and support them in the steps to achieve their goals.
I am passionate about wellbeing and working with individuals or teams to help them meet their needs. My approach is creative and I bring my love of creativity and writing to my work. I facilitate words for wellbeing groups and offer reflective practice to registered professionals in health & social care. I am currently working towards accreditation as a poetry therapist as I believe poems and stories help us understand ourselves.
I take a person-centered holistic approach to supporting you with difficult issues in your life. I will give you the opportunity to explore the areas in your life that have brought you to coaching. I will support you to identify and make changes to enhance your well-being. I do this in a one to one setting and use a variety of methods including; self reflection and exploration, creative activities such as collage for visualisation, mindfulness and the use of writing and reading. However, the main purpose of the session is to give you the space to identify your needs and for me to support you in achieving these.
The types of people I work with often include those who are struggling with work-life balance, who feel ’stuck’ with some aspect of their life or who are at a point where they want to make a change in their life either at home or professionally or those who struggle with self-confidence or imposter syndrome.
